All Saints Catholic School Blessing Celebration

 

His Grace Archbishop Daniel Bohan blesses children at a special Eucharistic celebration commemorating the Blessing of the School on October 20th.

Honour Roll

Vanier Collegiate kicked off Education Week with the presentation of Honour Roll Awards.

Education Week at St. Agnes

 

Grade 6 took part in an online presentation from Canadian Astronaut David Saint-Jacques. Topics covered included astronaut selection, training, life in space, zero gravity, scientific research, advanced technology development, and the International Space Station. 

St. Michael School STEM Challenge

 

Students at St. Michael compete in STEM(Science Technology Engineering Math) Challenge.  Students had to construct a free-standing tower out of dry spaghetti and marshmallows.  The tallest structure was 73 cm!

Literacy Night at St. Mary School

St. Mary School held a literacy night focused on the school's goals in Math and Reading. Staff shared with parents some of the programs being used at the school this year such as Mathletics, Reading Eggs, Global Read-a-Louds and Edmodo.

Education Week at École St. Margaret

 

Madame Cote's Grade 2 class learned about the Prairie Harvest and were taught how to do wheat weaving at the Moose Jaw Art Gallery and Museum during Education Week.

Earth Balloon

St. Agnes, St. Margaret, and some Vanier students experienced learning about Development and Peace initiatives around the world today in the Earthcare Connections' Earth Balloon at St. Agnes. The Earth Balloon's visit was made possible by the Archdiocese of Regina 'Light a Spark, Set a Fire' Social Justice conference tomorrow at Vanier Collegiate.
